This is an attempt to use ambisonics to recreate a specific location and moment in time, using the directional audio capabilities of ambisonics to combine many generic sounds into a cohesive and specific whole.

The specific moment being captured is a quiet fall night in Toronto’s Rouge Park. The listener is staring down the rocky shore, the lake on their left, and a large stand of dried reeds just ahead and to their right. The sounds of the city are present, cars on the distant road, and a single engine plane crossing overhead. On the raised track to their right, a train approaches the listener, then passes.
